'White Poplar & Tag' naturally hand dyed 21-micron merino wool top/ roving, 100g
These braids were dyed with white poplar leaves and alum to obtain a gentle yellow hue. This later was followed by Tagetes powder extract to deepend the locolur into soft yet more vibrant yellow. Lovely and soft, yet slightly felted of surface due to a double dyeing process, this should still spin beautifully with a proper wool pre-spinning prep.
All care was taken to permanently fix the dye to wool however, some slight colour run may occur during the first wash of the finished product. Hand-wash only.
All our wool is sourced from mulesing-free sheep.
